This project explores the design of high-impact YouTube thumbnails aimed at improving click-through rates and visual storytelling. The goal was to develop a consistent visual style that captures attention while clearly communicating the video’s topic.
CHALLENGES
YouTube thumbnails compete for attention in highly crowded environments. Poor visual hierarchy or unclear messaging often results in lower engagement. The challenge was to create thumbnails that remain clear, bold, and recognizable even at small sizes.
SOLUTIONS
The design system focuses on strong visual contrast, expressive typography, and simple compositional structure. Each thumbnail follows a consistent framework that balances imagery, facial expression, and bold headline text to quickly communicate the video’s content.
